Long Time No Update!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. It's been forever, but I have news worth writing about this morning! I adopted a young ball python! He's beautiful and very friendly (I probably just jinxed it so the next time I hold him, he'll bite my finger or something equally unpleasant). Anyway, his name is Andromeda, A.D. for short. My cat Tabby is very fascinated with him and I even caught her meowing at him earlier, probably praying that she'll be able to get her claws around him sometime. I haven't updated in a while, mainly cuz I've been using tumblr more than anything else! (My tumblr is ninorenaechuivo). There's not really anything major to report. But here's what I've got...I'm transferring colleges so I can be closer to my family and friends. I saw Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows last night and it was amazing!!! Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol is on Wednesday's to-do list. My 20th birthday is tomorrow and I broke my toe a few days ago when I dropped a large vacuum on it. Ouch. :XD: So nothing too spectacular, but I just thought I'd make a journal cuz it seemed like the right thing to do. :D

Midgey, R.I.P.

His name was Midgey. My friend, Sara, is a wildlife rehabber who often takes in litters of sick kittens to nurse back to health. A 6-week-old Midgey was brought to her along with his several ill brothers and sisters in September of last year. They all had upper respiratory infections, which is a big kitten-killer, and their chances of survival were slim. I've added you to my watch list because your photographs are beautiful and what makes them even better is the fact that many of them are from the Indiana Wolf Park. I visited there once and have wanted to return ever since. What beautiful wolves they have! Keep up the amazing work.

I'm always thrilled to find another fan of Wolf Park here on DA! So far, I've been in with the pack 6 times on photo seminars and once, long ago, on a puppy photography session. The current pack just welcomed the birth of new puppies this weekend! Young Dharma is a new mommy! So, who knows; perhaps another puppy session will come in the future? I hope so!

New pups are just the most amazing things! I wish I lived a little closer to the Park, because I would definitely love to see these newcomers, not to mention all the wolves already there. You are very lucky to be able to visit them!
